Level Porta is uses the same unique technology that is found in Level Aeran 2. The core of the system is a set of solenoid valves, which regulate the air flow and keep pressure steady during measurement.

Level Porta connects quickly and easily to an on-deck air supply and uses a purge hose inserted in to a sounding pipe to read the pressure. Once started, it takes only ten to fifteen seconds to take a ballast reading, much more quickly and easily than traditional sounding methods.
