Creating New Solutions from Measurements

Vessels require a variety of measurement data to be collected, analyzed, and used.
Musasino is working towards digitalization of cargo handling through high-accuracy measurement equipment.

As a first step in this direction, Musasino is introducing an automated ballast control system using the high-accuracy level gauge LAX and a valve control system.

The system uses LAX measurements of drafts and ballast tanks, and data from an electronic inclinometer, etc., analyzing vessel conditions during loading or unloading operations to automatically operate ballast valves.

The fusion of high-accuracy measurement equipment and systems, and software solutions contributes to a reduction in crew workload and uncrewed vessel operations.
